How this site makes money

Right now it doesn't: there are no ads and no booking or affiliate links on Stay & Soak yet.

The plan, and the rules that come with it:

• Booking partner links. City pages may show hotel search links or a hotel map from booking partners. If you book through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. They are always labeled as partner links and marked as sponsored.
• Ads, later. Standard in-page ads. No pop-ups, pop-unders or full-screen ads, now or later.

What money never buys here: a listing, a better position, or different wording. Hotels can't pay to be included, and every listing comes from the hotel's own website. The links in our listings that go to hotel websites are plain source links, not paid links.
